Planning your own Red Carpet Event
Are you one of those people that enjoy entertaining and getting together with friends? Do you have themed parties and come up with new spins for another great party? This is a fun one to implement simultaneously with the actual Red Carpet events the stars attend. Some fun things to do at home are:
• Send out fancy invitations, Use red envelopes and create an invite to set the tone of your event.
• Call your local party rental place for sanctions and rope. This makes your guests feel like they really are attending a red carpet event.
• When they step on the red carpet have a step and repeat done up with the year and your family name on it. You can make that out of the rolled paper or poster board.
• Hire a photographer ( a teenager if you are on a budget) or two to take photos like the paparazzi when your guests enter onto the red carpet. These photos will be great to post on your social media page after the party. This is also good to save for next year’s awards to entice your guests not to miss out on such an incredible event.
• The food can be fun. Finger food, but with a twist. Put things on bamboo sticks and name the dishes with your favorite stars names. Look up on the internet what their favorite dishes are and make them.
• Have proper seating. Create the same atmosphere by renting some round tables and clearing out your living room so the guest feel like they are actually there. When decorating the table keep in mind high society.
• Use fancy dishware (or the fancy disposable ones) Have ice bucket’s set up on each of the tables with your champagne or wine in them.
• Give out awards at your party. Go to the local trophy store and pick up some inexpensive awards to present to your guests.
Pass around a sheet of paper with a list of questions for your guests to answer and collect them to reveal who the winners are. Have special envelopes done up ahead of time with the award name and what it means and then open it with the winners name and announce it like they do on TV.
There are endless possibilities for planning events and when you entertain your guests will talk about your party for a long time. Make it memorable by paying attention to details.
